After 3 times through the Five in a Row (FIAR) materials, I am kinda’ sad that our days of snuggling with storybooks are coming to a close. Why is it that with all parenting adventures, as soon as you become super confident and have all the resources you need, your kids move on? *Sigh*

Recently I was asked to become FIAR’s unofficial “keeper of the list.” The many users of Five in a Row have worked together to create fantastic correlation charts for seasons, themes, and more. It is well worth your time to take a look at these charts – they have saved me many hours of planning.

Technically, you can complete FIAR without printing a single thing, but I loved finding fun games and interactive notebook materials to enhance our studies.

Everyone loves to get free things in the mail! Check out this ever-updated list of companies that will send you educational materials for free, correlated by FIAR title.
Not so free, but very fun: If you are looking for Christmas or birthday gifts, there is no better present to buy than toys that go-along with the FIAR books
