Okay, so I have to admit that I thought this project would be far too time consuming and detail oriented for my 11yo, but she is doing a great job and having a fantastic time making her own paddle board. (Yet again, my husband was right and I was wrong – Drat, I hate when I have to eat crow.) It is going much faster than I expected too, so it should be ready for summer. I’ve always wanted to play on one of these things, so I’m looking forward to launch time.
We seem to have a build-one-water-toy-per-winter theme going on in our house. Have fun browsing some of my husband’s other antique boat projects.
