As everyone knows, I am the world’s worst gardener.  Seriously, it is bad.  I have a total of one indoor plant that I haven’t yet managed to kill, and that is a bomb-proof Jade plant.  I’ve made it shrivel multiple times.  It currently looks a bit lopsided and has roots sticking out of the drain holes in the bottom, but other than that it is still mostly healthy-ish thanks to my daughter who remembers that we need to water it once a month or so.

I’m convinced that God felt sorry for those of us with a black thumb and gave us thoughtful birds as a consolation prize.  These messy eaters unintentionally planted the most beautiful sunflowers on the edges of our yard, and I get to enjoy the rewards.IMG_0055

Thank you birds!

I might give you a run for your money for worst gardener! How sweet of the birds to plant such stunning sunflowers.

I’m cursed with the same affliction – every plant I tend dies… *sigh*
But look at these beauties – I love sunflowers!

Those are beautiful! We grew some a couple of summers and they came out so nice. Glad the birds helped you out :)

Oh wow. They are beautiful. We also kill everything we plant. We tried herbs and perps and ended up with a dead mess.

I was not gifted with a gardener gene myself. :) I have no house plants. I may have to check out a Jade plant though! I love flowers but I kill them as well! That is a nice arrangement!
