DSC_0098We are a family that takes our lessons on the road a lot.  Keeping everything where it needs to be is a top priority.  This is one simple fix that has saved us lots of aggravation.

The steps are simple so I won’t include a lot of words, but if you have any questions just leave them in the comments section and I’ll try to make sure that I explain it clearly.

1.  Cut a piece of duct tape about 2 inches longer than the diameter of your pen/pencil.

2.  At a point a little wider than the diameter of your pen (around 1 inch from the edge) cut 1/3 of the way through the width of your tape on each side.

3.  Fold the center pieces in toward the center, making sure that the adhesive is completely covered.

4.  Attach one sticky side to the outside of your binder or notebook.  I usually choose to do this on the back, rather than the front so that I can leave the notebook open and have the pen attached on my right.

5.  Fold the tape over and attach the other sticky side to the inside.

That’s it!  Enjoy.
