DSC_0355I was recently asked for my lesson plans from the Medieval survey class I taught last year.  Covering the entirety of the Middle Ages in just 15 lessons is no easy task. Planning this class made me feel a bit crazy; I needed cover information quickly, but didn’t want to gloss over important topics.  It ended up being quite fun, and it was actually helpful to cover time so quickly because the kids were  able to see the connections between events.

Unfortunately, I don’t have all of the craft instructions any longer, but I did find my notes to my TA which includes all of the summaries, a list of crafts and activities, and reading assignments.  They aren’t particularly pretty, but all of the most important information is there.  Feel free to use whatever you find helpful.  I just ask that you remember to link back and cite appropriately.

Hi there! I stumbled across your site looking for some help with a medieval unit study I am about to do with my kiddos (my first unit study ever) ! I clicked on the link – however scribd charges for the download. Do you have another option to access this document? Thank you so much for sharing!

I just checked my settings on Scribd, and none of my documents are part of their membership program, therefore they are free. I toggled the option off and back on again, so hopefully that will re-set any issues on their end. You will still need an account on Scribd, but there is no charge for it. Try again, and let me know if you are still experiencing problems!
