      The strangest part is that he is the one actually coming closer to us. He watches us (uh, I was just going to write “like a hawk,” but I guess that’s what they are known for) and will hop closer to check out what we are up to.

    That is a breath taking photo! Lovely! We have a pair of red-tails- they were teaching thier fledglings to fly over our property last spring ; )
