My kids asked if I would pay them to clean the leaves off the driveway.
“Sure!” I said, proud of their industriousness and looking forward to a quiet Saturday morning. I walked over to the shed to find a few more rakes.
Then I saw this:
20 minutes later the job was done, they were richer, and I was wiser.
My kids are officially smarter than I am.
Outwitted Again
He told me this story the other day! I couldn’t help but laugh…he did mention that the leaves won in the end, because the next morning he woke up and the driveway was covered again! :)
